We are pleased to announce that the Symposium on Optical Coatings for Laser Applications OCLA will be organized for the 12th time on April 29th, 2027. This year, ELI ERIC is hosting the event in Dolní Břežany (CZ).
Symposium on Optical Coatings for Laser Applications
Join us at this event where attendees and speakers alike can benefit from a rich network, exchange ideas, and gain insight into new trends, measurement methodologies, and research findings.

Call for Presentations and Posters
The OCLA Symposium is geared towards technically interested engineers and scientists working with laser optics, high-end optical thin film deposition and characterisation. Visitors, presenters and researchers get the opportunity to exchange ideas and share their work related to the field of optical coatings, laser technology and LIDT measurement.
The upcoming workshop is looking for submissions which offer solutions to common problems, innovative uses of technology, current research findings and more.
Registration for OCLA 2027 will open in January 2027.

Requirements
You are invited to send your proposals for presentations or posters in the field of
- Optical coatings for laser applications
- Laser technology and applications
- Metrology for optical coatings and substrates
- Low loss optical coatings
- Laser damage of optical coatings
- Impact of polishing, surfaces and interfaces
Additional Information:
- Presentations are typically 15 minutes long
- Poster size is DIN A0
- Abstracts should be no more than 1000 characters (including spaces)
- Please include the lead presenter’s name, title, affiliation, and email, along with the name/affiliation of additional presenters
- Indicate if you intend to give a TALK or to present a POSTER
- Participation at OCLA 2027 is free of charge
- Submit your proposal by January 12, 2027.
Authors will be notified by February 2, 2027 whether their proposals have been accepted.
